Gallagher Re names Aon's Jang as Korea CEO

May 28 - (The Insurer) - Gallagher Re announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Chulmin Jang as chief executive for its Korea business.

The incumbent CEO of Gallagher Korea Phil Won Jeong will now become its chairman.

Jang joins from Aon, where he was president of the Korea division of Aon Reinsurance Solutions. Before Aon, he spent over three decades at Korea Re, where later he was executive managing director.

During his tenure at Korea Re, Jang contributed to the reinsurer’s growth across marine, property, agriculture and international markets. He was also responsible for key renewals of major accounts.
