Trump says Golden Dome system would cost Canada $61 billion
May 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post on Tuesday that a proposed Golden Dome missile defense shield that he has previously said Canada wanted to be part of would cost Ottawa $61 billion.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said last week that the country is looking at potential investments in the proposed $175-billion project.
