Canadian industry minister says Stellantis gave her jobs guarantee

OTTAWA, May 22 (Reuters) - Canadian Industry Minister Melanie Joly told reporters she had spoken on Thursday to Stellantis North American CEO Jeff Hines, who she said had assured her that all of the automaker's jobs in Canada would be maintained.
Stellantis said last month that it would close its assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario, for two weeks, citing tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
