TMHCCI appoints Spiteri senior underwriter, professional risks

May 22 - (The Insurer) - Tokio Marine HCC International has announced the appointment of Claire Spiteri as senior underwriter for professional risks.
Spiteri will support the insurer's professional indemnity and management liability books. She will be based in Manchester and report to Frances Eaton, professional risks underwriting manager for the North region.
Spiteri previously worked as a senior professional indemnity underwriter at AIG, specialising in professional services, construction, engineering and media.
The company named Thibaud Hervy as chief executive officer and Simon Button as chief underwriting officer at the start of this month.
This followed the announcement in March that Tokio Marine HCC International CEO Barry Cook was set to take up the newly created position of deputy CEO of Tokio Marine HCC, after the retirement of president Mike Schell.
