Marsh Specialty appoints Payne its UK marine, cargo and logistics CEO

May 21 - (The Insurer) - Marsh Specialty has appointed Jay Payne as CEO of its UK marine, cargo and logistics practice, the unit's chief executive Dominic Samengo-Turner said on Linkedin.

Payne, who previously led Marsh Specialty's UK cargo business, will start his new position on June 1, 2025.

He will take on the role that was vacated by Louise Nevill, when she exited to become Axa XL's specialty CUO in March.

Payne has spent his last six years at Marsh having joined as part of the JLT acquisition in 2019. He had spent the previous two decades at JLT, latterly as senior partner.
