May 20 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Tuesday welcomed new British and EU sanctions on Russia and said it "would be good" if the United States added its help.
"Today, we have a sanctions decision from Britain, as well as one from the EU and it would be good if the United States also helped," Zelenskiy wrote on Telegram after speaking by telephone with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"Our European partners are already preparing the next steps in this critically important pressure on Russia to end the war."
