Exclusive: Omega Systems adds former Redpoint Cybersecurity CEO Safirstein as cyber solutions leader

May 20 - (The Insurer) - Omega Systems, a cybersecurity risk and managed services firm, has appointed former Redpoint CEO Russ Safirstein as cyber solutions leader.
Safirstein served as president and CEO of cybersecurity firm Redpoint Cyber for six years before stepping down in January following the company’s acquisition by investment firm Mitsui & Co.
Well-known within the cyber insurance community and a regular speaker and attendee at industry events, Safirstein is also the chief operating officer, board member and co-founder of Ryailiti LLC.
Earlier in his career, he held various leadership roles at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, Paracon Group, Liquidnet and MetLife.
Based in Reading, Pennsylvania, Omega Systems is an IT consulting, managed services, compliance, and cybersecurity firm serving U.S. customers in the financial services, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, government and nonprofit industries.
