RPS names Caruso national casualty president

May 20 - (The Insurer) - Risk Placement Services has appointed Ania Caruso, who was most recently managing director of the southeast region for Gallagher's casualty practice, as the national casualty president.

In her new role at Gallagher-owned wholesaler RPS, Caruso will oversee the practice’s business strategies, growth objectives and talent development initiatives.

Caruso has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before Gallagher, she held roles at the Plexus Groupe, CNA Insurance, Willis and Marsh.

She will be based in RPS's Atlanta office and report to Adam Mazan, RPS president.
