Intact promotes Belair to technology president in North America

May 20 - (The Insurer) - Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions has appointed Aaron Belair as president of technology for its North American operations.
Belair, who joined Intact in 2019, has held several positions at the company spanning technology, multinational and, most recently, European casualty. While based in Madrid, he helped build Intact company RSA's technology platform, delivering tailored property, casualty, errors and omissions and cyber solutions to tech firms across Europe.
"Aaron has been a driving force for growth and innovation across our European operations," said Melissa Goto, deputy senior vice president, specialty lines, U.S., at Intact.
Belair has over 15 years of experience in the industry. Before Intact, he worked at The Hartford.
In January, Intact named Emmanuel Clarke as CEO of global specialty lines at Intact Financial Corporation.
