World acquires two South Carolina-based insurance agencies

May 20 - (The Insurer) - World Insurance Associates acquired South Carolina's Owens Insurance Agency and Stokes Farnham Insurance Agency, providers of commercial, personal, life and health, and bond insurance products.
The acquisition took place on January 1. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Together, Owens and Stokes Farnham operate out of Greer and Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Earlier in May, Rich Eknoian-led World announced the acquisitions of the Pittsford, New York-based Christopher Williams Agency and Barrett Millard.
