May 20 - (The Insurer) - Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Grant Williamson as Canada leader within its corporate risk and broking (CRB) business.
Williamson joined WTW in October 2024 as deputy regional leader, chief commercial officer and head of strategy and execution for Willis in Canada. Prior to joining the company, he held senior roles at Marsh and JLT Canada.
In his new role, Williamson will partner with the Canadian leadership team and leaders across North America and global specialty lines to drive the Canadian growth strategy through go-to-market initiatives and strengthened local execution.
Based in Toronto, he will report to Ionel Rizea, chief commercial officer, CRB North America.
“Grant brings a clear strategic lens, and his expertise in the Canadian market makes him exceptionally well-suited for this role,” said Pat Donnelly, head of risk and broking North America.
Earlier this month, Willis announced that it had appointed David Lofstrom from Gallagher as deputy regional leader for New England within CRB in North America.
