REFILE-Canopius announces two senior hirings in APAC team

May 20 - (The Insurer) - Canopius Group has appointed Chen Zhang as head of claims for the Asia Pacific region, the company said on Monday.
In addition, Channing Chiu has been appointed to the newly created role of Asia Pacific regional strategy and transformation lead.
Both report to Soon Keen (SK) Lee, CEO of the company’s APAC and Middle East & North Africa region.
Channing will work with SK and the regional executive committee to set the company’s long-term strategic goals for the region.
She has previously worked at AIG Singapore and served as underwriting and portfolio manager for four markets in Southeast Asia and Greater China. Chen was the manager of Factual Mutual Insurance Company’s Hong Kong branch before this.
