PARIS, May 20 (Reuters) - French-Italian carmaker Stellantis STLAM.MI plans to name a new chief executive before the end of the first half of the year, chairman of Peugeot Invest, Stellantis' second-largest shareholder said on Tuesday.
Robert Peugeot also told the annual shareholders meeting that Stellantis' first half of 2025 would be difficult, a bit similar to the second half of 2024, and that measures were under way to help Stellantis recover.
Former Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares abruptly left the company - maker of Jeep and Peugeot brand cars - in December following a dramatic plunge in sales and profit.
