World hires AssuredPartners' Youshock as personal lines head

May 19 - (The Insurer) - World Insurance Associates has hired Michelle Youshock, former regional personal lines sales leader at AssuredPartners, as the head of personal lines, replacing Jim Hickey, who is taking over carrier consolidation efforts at the company.
Youshock has over two decades of experience in the industry. Before AssuredPartners, she held roles at Farmers Insurance and State Farm Insurance.
World said that Youshock in her new role will work to guide the $150 million business towards 10% sustained growth.
"Our personal lines business is a critical piece of the puzzle for our retail unit, and we're excited to have Michelle join the team," said Tom Fitzgerald, president of World Retail.
In April, World hired Jay Robinson, former senior vice president, resident sales director at Aon, as its Southeast division revenue leader.
