Brazil's IBC-Br economic activity up 0.8% in March

BRASILIA, May 19 (Reuters) - Brazil's IBC-Br economic activity index rose a seasonally adjusted 0.8% in March from the previous month, the central bank said on Monday, beating the 0.5% increase forecast in a Reuters poll of economists.
The March reading put activity in the first quarter 1.3% higher than in the final three months of last year.
