China says Taiwan has 'no reason or right' to participate in World Health Assembly

BEIJING, May 19 (Reuters) - China's foreign ministry said on Monday that Taiwan had no reason or right to participate in the World Health Assembly without the consent of the "central government".
Taiwan authorities' "separatist" stance has led to the loss of a political foundation for its participation in the assembly, the ministry said in a statement.
