Kremlin spokesperson Peskov: Preparations under way for Putin-Trump conversation

May 17 (Reuters) - Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Russian news agencies, said on Saturday that preparations were under way for a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump.
"A conversation is being prepared," Peskov told the agencies after Trump wrote on social media that he would speak to Putin on Monday and, afterwards, to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and various members of NATO.
