- (The Insurer) - Zurich North America has announced leadership changes within its U.S. national accounts and underwriting team.

Heather Fox, formerly chief underwriting officer, has been appointed to lead the U.S. national accounts business, which caters to large national and multinational companies.

Fox assumed her new role on May 15 and will be part of the Zurich North America executive committee, the group leadership team, and the global commercial insurance leadership team.

She joined Zurich North America in 2023, with prior experience at ARC Excess & Surplus and AIG.

This transition follows the forthcoming retirement of Paul Lavelle, the previous head of U.S. national accounts, who will remain with the company until June 1 to ensure a smooth transition.

Additionally, Peter Caminiti, previously head of underwriting for U.S. national accounts, has been promoted to chief underwriting officer.

He also took on his new role on May 15, joining the Zurich North America executive committee and the group leadership team. Caminiti has been with Zurich since 2014.
