Canada's Carney, Mexico's Sheinbaum discuss trade in call

- Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Thursday about building on the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) on trade and "the imperative to strengthen their respective economies against future shocks," the Prime Minister's Office said in a readout.

Carney and Sheinbaum also directed their senior officials to work to find ways to deepen bilateral relations between the two nations, the readout said.
