Rokstone names Belcourt as head of complex claims

May 15 - (The Insurer) - Aventum Group-owned Rokstone has named Stephanie Belcourt as head of complex claims, the specialty MGA said on Thursday.

Belcourt most recently spent eight years as claims manager for marine and liability at Apollo Syndicate 1969.

She will join Rokstone following completion of her notice period.

Rokstone said the appointment indicates its investment in claims capabilities alongside its strategic growth, with the in-house claims team now totalling 16 across the UK and U.S.

Rokstone has undergone notable expansion over the past 12 months, most recently appointing Eddie Hughes from Antares Managing Agency as head of specialty reinsurance.

Earlier this month, The Insurer exclusively reported that Rokstone had launched a UK and Ireland casualty divisionled by new hire Lewis Goodearl from Convex.

Last month, Rokstone also launched a Lloyd’s-backed U.S. all-state mid-market aviation program.
