US eyes possibility of revising Japan-US Trade agreement in tariff talks, Jiji reports

TOKYO, May 15 (Reuters) - The United States is considering the possibility of revising the Japan-U.S. Trade agreement in bilateral tariff negotiations, Jiji news reported on Thursday.
Japan's top trade negotiator, Ryosei Akazawa, could travel to Washington as soon as next week for a third round of trade talks with the U.S., two sources with knowledge of the plans told Reuters.
