Russia's Lavrov will not take part in Ukraine peace talks in Turkey, Kommersant reports

May 14 (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will not participate in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul on Thursday, the Kommersant daily reported.
Reuters could not immediately confirm the Kommersant report, which did not identify a source.
U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin were still "maybes" for what could be the first direct peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv in years after the Kremlin on Wednesday held off disclosing who would represent Russia.
