OTTAWA, May 14 (Reuters) - New Canadian Industry Minister Melanie Joly on Wednesday told reporters she planned to talk to the head of Honda Motor 7267.T by the end of the day after the carmaker said it would pause a major Canadian project.
Honda on Tuesday forecast a 59% profit decrease in the current financial year and said it would put on hold a plan to build an EV supply chain in Canada, amid the uncertainty stemming from U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs.
