ANKARA, May 13 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is scheduled to travel to Ankara this week, Ukraine's embassy in Turkey said on Tuesday, ahead of possible talks with Russia's Vladimir Putin that might take place in Istanbul later this week.
Earlier on Tuesday, Zelenskiy told reporters that he would meet Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara for talks and would then head to Istanbul if Putin turned up for planned peace talks there.
The Kremlin has not yet said whether Putin would attend the talks in person.
