- (The Insurer) - Acrisure UK Broking has announced three hires in its UK regional business.

Tom Brown has been named head of the former Hine Insurance business, which became part of Acrisure's UK retail platform in October 2022.

The business now sits under the leadership of Jeff Hobson, regional director for the north and CEO of Eleven Network.

Acrisure's MGA Sutton Specialist Risks (SSR) has hired Gary Green to lead 2Vision, a new specialist unit catering to regional brokers supporting SMEs. He will also open an office in Chelmsford, Essex, for SSR.

SSR’s 2Vision will offer tailored cover for professional liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, commercial combined and standalone terrorism risks, the company said in a release.

Scott Feltham has joined as private clients development director in the southern management team under Sally Swann. He is responsible for strengthening Acrisure’s high-net-worth (HNW) and family office proposition.

Brown was previously broking director at Lothbury. Green, who has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, has joined from Angel Risk Management. Feltham has experience in overseeing and arranging complex insurance and risk management programs for ultra-HNW and HNW families and individuals.

The company recently revealed plans to rebrand all its UK broking entities under the Acrisure name by the end of the year.

These new hires come a month after Acrisure appointed Mark Wassersug as chief technology officer and Shawn Pelsinger as chief administrative officer.

Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of Acrisure, also named Aon's former Bermuda reinsurance CEO Roman Romeo as president and head of its Bermuda operations.
