Russia says its forces capture village in east Ukraine

MOSCOW, May 12 (Reuters) - Russian troops have captured the settlement of Kotliarivka in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, the Russian defence ministry said on Monday via its channel in Telegram messaging app.
Reuters could not independently confirm the battlefield report.
