US Treasury says Trump intends to nominate McKernan for undersecretary role

May 9 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump intends to nominate Jonathan McKernan to serve as the undersecretary of domestic finance at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the department said on Friday.
McKernan previously served on the board of directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and held senior roles at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the Treasury Department and the U.S. Senate, the Treasury Department said in a statement.
