Suspension of US-China tariffs possible during talks' duration, Swiss minister says

GENEVA, May 9 (Reuters) - The Swiss economy minister told reporters that it was a possibility that the U.S. and China agreed to a temporary suspension of customs during the course of their trade negotiations taking place in Geneva.
"We could imagine everything – we could imagine a mutual suspension of customs duties during the course of the discussions. That's up to the parties," Guy Parmelin told reporters, describing one hypothetical outcome of the talks.
