May 9 (Reuters) - Krones KRNG.DE, a German maker of bottling machines and other gear for the beverage industry, expects only a "very slight" influence of U.S. import tariffs on sales and earnings this year, its CEO told Reuters.
About half of its machines sold in the U.S. were locally produced, CEO Christoph Klenk said, adding that the remainder was mainly being imported from Germany with very limited competitive pressure from U.S. manufacturers.
He added he was expecting a temporary dip in incoming orders during the second quarter.
