World acquires New York's Christopher Williams Agency and Barrett Millard

May 8 - (The Insurer) - World Insurance Associates has acquired the Pittsford, New York-based Christopher Williams Agency and Barrett Millard.

The financial terms of the deal, which closed at the start of the year but was not announced until now, were not disclosed.

The Christopher Williams Agency began in 1961, and purchased Barrett Millard in 2023. They provide insurance to individuals and businesses in Rochester, New York.

Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel, and MidCap Consulting advised World on the transaction. Saunders Management, Lacy Katzen, and Harter Secrest & Emery provided legal counsel to Christopher Williams on the transaction.
