Consilium appoints Woodward as chief claims officer

May 8 - (The Insurer) - Specialty insurance group Aventum’s (re)insurance broking arm Consilium has named Nick Woodward as chief claims officer, the company said on Thursday.

Woodward will head the claims advocacy team and will be supported by a nine-strong claims team. He will also collaborate with the head of technical claims and coverage, Duncan Childs.

Woodward was previously a claims director at Optio. He has worked in the legal and claims sectors, and in technical, operational, and performance management across Lloyd’s and the London market.
