Hub acquires Louisiana-based Demarie Insurance Agency

May 7 - (The Insurer) - Hub International has acquired FGLP Equity Partners, which trades as Demarie Insurance Agency, a personal and commercial lines agency based in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The Demarie team, led by its principal Aric Pohorelsky, will join Hub Gulf South, with the business now known as Demarie Insurance, a Hub International company.
Terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed.
Last month Hub acquired Meyer & Rosenbaum, a commercial and personal insurance provider based in Meridian, Mississippi.
Hub announced earlier in April that it had acquired Decatur, Illinois-based Dansig Insurance Risk Advisors, an independent insurance risk adviser offering employee benefits services and commercial and personal insurance.
