France, Germany to set up joint defense security council, Macron says

PARIS, May 7 (Reuters) - France and Germany will set up a joint defense security council that will meet regularly as part of their efforts to boost defense investments, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday.
Macron was speaking alongside new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the Elysee palace in Paris.
