Allianz Trade appoints Jimenez as APAC CEO

May 6 - (The Insurer) - Rodrigo Jimenez, regional commercial director for northern Europe at credit insurer Allianz Trade, will become Asia Pacific regional CEO from October 1, 2025.
Jimenez is set to begin a three-month transition period from July 1, 2025, and will take over from current APAC CEO Paul Flanagan, who is retiring after a 34-year career at Allianz.
Jimenez said he plans to extend Allianz Trade’s presence into Vietnam, which would represent the 13th market in the Asia Pacific region for the credit insurer.
Jimenez joined the organization in Brazil in 2014 as the CEO. He has been the European regional commercial director and a part of the regional management team since 2021.
