May 2 (Reuters) - Take-Two Interactive TTWO.O on Friday set a release date of May 26, 2026, for "Grand Theft Auto VI," ending years of speculation around one of the most hotly anticipated video game launches in history.

The game was previously expected to launch in the fall of 2025.
