Aon acquires Israel-based marine agency Atlas

April 30 - (The Insurer) - Aon has acquired Israel-based Atlas Insurance Agency, a Lloyd's coverholder which has been operational for 50 years.
Atlas specialises in marine insurance, including coverage for cargo, hull and machinery, and charterers’ professional liability.
Following the acquisition, several Atlas team members will join Aon, including Ronen Hakham-Aharon and Ohad Hakham-Aharon, the sons of founder Kaduri Hakham-Aharon.
Aon's Israel business is led by Yasmin Koren, who has served as country CEO since the start of the year.
