Munich Re appoints Baer as Australasia CFO

April 30 - (The Insurer) - Munich Re has appointed Diana Baer as chief financial officer for its Australasian operations.
Baer has worked for Munich Re for 17 years in a range of finance and accounting roles. She will begin her new role on July 1.
She replaces David Field, who has become chief financial officer of Great Lakes Insurance SE, a subsidiary of Munich Re.
Field has spent the past 19 years with Munich Re, based in Sydney, Munich and Milan.
