- (The Insurer) - Willis has continued to add to its global aviation and space unit with the hires of Marsh U.S. managing director John Andrews and Aon's Graham Caffrey, two senior aviation sources told The Insurer.

The sources said that Andrews, who has more than three decades of aerospace experience, resigned from his role at Marsh and will join Willis upon completion of his contractual duties.

Caffrey resigned from his position as Aon's aviation client services leader for Ireland and will join Willis as head of aviation Ireland upon completion of his contractual duties, the sources added.

Willis has also hired Marsh U.S. duo Claudia Shipman and Elizabeth O’Raidy, two senior aviation sources said. Shipman and O'Raidy, both senior vice presidents within Marsh's U.S. aviation unit, will join Willis upon completion of their contractual duties.

On Tuesday, this publication reported that Willis had hired Marsh's former U.S. aviation managing director Stephen Kisor and global head of aviation and space Garrett Hanrahan, along with AssuredPartners' aerospace managing director Joe Braunstein.

Willis also hired HDI Global Specialty's Frida Kangasniemi as Nordics head of aviation.

Willis, Marsh and Aon declined to comment.
