China's Xi visits New Development Bank, Xinhua reports

BEIJING, April 29 (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the New Development Bank in Shanghai on Tuesday, meeting with its president, Dilma Rousseff, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
China will support the operation and development of the New Development Bank as always, Xi said, adding that the country is willing to strengthen project cooperation with the institution in green, innovative and sustainable development.
Xi said China will firmly safeguard its own legitimate rights and interests and the common interests of the international community, according to Xinhua.
