US State Dept approves potential sale of Patriot Air Defense System to Romania

WASHINGTON, April 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of a Patriot Air Defense System and related equipment to Romania for $280 million, the Pentagon said in a statement on Monday.
The principal contractors will be RTX Corp RTX.N and Lockheed Martin LMT.N, the Pentagon added.
