Chaucer bolsters international property leadership with Scor's Brown and Everest's Cleair

April 28 - (The Insurer) - Chaucer Group has appointed Emma Brown and Andy Cleair as class underwriters in its international property division, the company said on Monday.

Both will report to Mel Smart, Chaucer's head of international property fac, and will be tasked with supporting the growth of the international property portfolio.

Brown brings more than two decades of Lloyd's and company market experience to the role, the last five of which were spent as a senior property underwriter at Scor.

Cleair, who most recently spent three years as senior property underwriter at Everest Syndicate, also has more than 20 years of industry experience.
