
CAIRO, April 27 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and Qatar are to settle Syria's outstanding arrears of around $15 million to the world bank group, a joint statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.
Saudi Arabia and Qatar will settle Syria's outstanding arrears, the Saudi state news agency published a joint statement by the two Gulf states as saying on Sunday, paving the way for the approval of millions of dollars in grants for reconstruction and to support the country's paralysed public sector.
