WASHINGTON, April 25 (Reuters) - The United States is demanding that countries disadvantage trade with China in talks that straddle economics and geopolitics, Italy's finance minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said on Friday.
"That too," Giorgetti told reporters in response to a question about whether Donald Trump's U.S. administration was demanding a "no-China policy."
"But the topic is complex because there aren't just economic considerations but also geopolitical considerations," he added, calling for a "big deal" that takes all facets of the issue into account.
