China's foreign ministry says not familiar with tariff exemption plans on US goods

BEIJING, April 25 (Reuters) - A spokesperson for China's foreign ministry said on Friday he was not familiar with the specifics of whether China was planning tariff exemptions on some U.S. imports.
Guo Jiakun, the spokesperson, reiterated in a regular press briefing that China and the United States were not having any consultations or negotiations on tariffs.
