BRASILIA, April 23 (Reuters) - Chilean President Gabriel Boric said on Wednesday that the Andean American country will not respond to global trade tensions with "loud" declarations or retaliation, but rather through deeper regional integration.
Boric called for greater unity across Latin America, especially South America, emphasizing the need to work toward streamlined customs procedures and promote investment aimed at improving logistics throughout supply chains.
"We are not going to respond with retaliation, we are going to respond with greater integration," Boric told the Brazil-Chile Business Forum in Brasilia.
