WASHINGTON, April 22 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday he will travel to the United Kingdom in the coming months after he canceled a planned trip to London, where talks about the war in Ukraine will take place this week.
In a post on X, Rubio said he spoke with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Tuesday and extended gratitude for hosting a U.S. delegation.
"Our team is looking forward to substantive and good technical meetings with Ukrainian and UK counterparts," Rubio said.
