- (The Insurer) - Apollo has collaborated with MGA Moonrock to launch a drone, eVTOL and aviation innovation insurance facility, the insurer said on Tuesday.

The facility will provide liability coverage of up to $100 million and property damage cover of up to $22.5 million.

It is led by Apollo with follow capacity from Aegis London, Axis, Beazley, Helvetia, IQUW and Munich Re.

Apollo said the facility is tailored to protect complex operations involving anything from single drones to larger fleets, as well as to meet the demand in eVTOL and other areas of aviation innovation.

The Lloyd's insurer first launched a drone insurance facility with Moonrock in February 2023. It expanded its binder with the specialist MGA to include drone product liability cover in February 2025.
