China calls for coordinated response to US tariffs in letter to Japan, Kyodo says

TOKYO, April 22 (Reuters) - The Chinese government sent a letter to Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba calling for a coordinated response to U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff measures, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported on Tuesday.
The letter was sent from Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Kyodo said, citing multiple Japanese government officials.
