Russia retakes Kursk region monastery from Ukraine, TASS says

MOSCOW, April 22 (Reuters) - Russian forces have retaken the Gornal St. Nicholas Belogorsky monastery in Russia's Kursk region from Ukrainian troops, state news agency TASS reported on Tuesday, citing a security source.
The monastery, which is close to the Russia-Ukraine border, had been one of the last positions inside Kursk region still held by Ukraine since it launched a major incursion into Russia last August.
