CRC Group confirms hire of Aon's Jones with focus on driving strategic alignment with clients

April 21 - (The Insurer) - CRC Group has hired Todd Jones, former executive vice president for risk capital at Aon, as its chief growth officer, confirming E&S Insurer's reporting.
He will join in June and report to CRC Group CEO Dave Obenauer.
Jones has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before Aon, he was the CEO of QBE North America and head of risk and broking at WTW.
In his new role, Jones will lead CRC Group's strategic initiatives focused on organic growth with a particular focus on driving strategic alignment with key clients.
"(Jones) brings a proven track record of delivering results, building strong teams, and driving transformational growth. His insights and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to scale and evolve to meet the needs of our clients and partners," Obenauer said.
Jones joins CRC Group just as it has established itself as an independent, pure-play wholesaler following TIH’s spinoff of retail intermediary McGriff to Marsh McLennan last year in a $7.75 billion transaction, E&S Insurer reported.
